POEM ABOUT WATER

Post by mr.banker on Sat Jun 13, 2009 10:55 am

First topic message reminder :

Water an elemental
Water a fundamental
Building block of life
Water of Life
Water of Death

Water in all religions
Water in all living things
Water in all countries
Water also used for barter

No life without water
No rife with water
No respect for water
Willful neglect of water

Water, for cooking
Water, for cleaning
Water, for drinking
Water, for living
Water, for dying

Water is the same
In all languages
Water is the same
To all living beings

Water

The water is flowing silently.
It disturbs no one.
It makes its way through the grass.
It satisfy everybody's thirst.
It there was no water,
we would not have survived so far;
The water is our life.
We can't live without water.
The water comes out from the pipe.

Just a few drops of water

Just a few drops of water
Which signifies sorrow.

Just a few drops of water
Which signifies immense happiness.

Just a few drops of water
That has no control.

Just a few drops of water
That flows down from the eyes.

Just a few drops of water
Which we call it tears.

The Canal

when I go to school,
I have to walk by side of a canal
I would be curios to see fish and crabs
But when I look into water these days
I saw garbage thrown in the water.

There are no creatures living in water
The garbage blocks the flow of water
The water is thoroughly polluted.
Like this everywhere its happening
We all are responsible for it.

Black in the Water

there's black in the water
and no one can see it but me
I am the only one to blame
pouring my heart out so carelessly
there's black in the water
though it started out clear
its light turned to darkness
in the course of a year

you put in the promises
broken and never remembered
you added the hurtful words
I so silently surrendered
you discarded your lies
and when you looked back
the water, it spiraled
your mistakes turned it black

there's black in the water
the happiness will sink
but I'm used to the color
so I'm tempted to drink
my pain overcomes me,
that I always knew
but there's black in the water
still invisible to you

Water, Water, every where

Water, Water every where,

Not a dropp to drink,

What have we done to our planet earth,

it’s the time to think.

If we had taken care before,

we would have been happy more.

If we had not waste water at that time,

water would have been in its prime.

Get the lesson, my dear! as its not too late,

or, for the drinking water, you’ll have to infinite wait.

It Is Still There!

There is Water in hard Pulp,
There is Water in pure Milk;
There is Water in thick Tears,
There is Water in Blood too;
Though we don't call it as Water,
It is still there!

There is Love in Indifference,
There is Love in killer Silence;
There is Love in red-hot Anger,
There is Love in hard Hate too;
Though we don't call it as Love,
It is still there!

Dried Waters

I cried and cried and can't cry
All those water's been drained off
I've already use all the waters in my eyes
So I looked for some in dry dayz
Dayz that my eyes is thirsty for water
Dayz that my eyes looks for water to console it's pupils
But it never find none
Because it didn't preserve the little it had to pour
The pain in my eyes is just too much
that it had to shed it's waters day and night
Now it's looking for some but can't find none
Will it ever find water?
Because the water itself is painful

Water Fall

The water rushes down
Pounding the rocks below
A thunderous roar reaches my ears
The water cascades over precipices
Races down the rive
Relentless
I stand
Mesmerized by the waters flow
It captures my mind
I love the water
It is anger and peace
Opposites together
Two things bound
I think on things lost
Chances, friends, lovers
My head hangs in sadness
I mourn for all I’ve lost
The now Brackish water flows
Down and over the falls
Cold and blissful
The waters calls me
I love the water
The way it swirls around me
I answer its call

Being

Under the curved blue
water flowing forever
cold current
hot current
fresh water into salty water
salty water into more salty water
going up as vapour
coming down as rain
all in the ocean
appearing and disappearing
forming and merging
again and again
ever.

water

water is here,
water is there,
water shines and it also reflects.

water gives life to fish and flowers,
it can flow and flow for as many hours.
water comes in many forms,
as many forms as oceans, seas, lakes and rivers.

Water

whether lot, whether little
whether cold, whether hot
whether thirst, whether not
water is always needed

whether clean, whether dirty
in the land, in the ocean
whether flood, whether dry
water is always problem

rain river, static puddle
hidden in the desert, moist in the forest
frost on mountain, vapor to clouds
water is everywhere

playable, making war
doesn't have taste, doesn't have color
you can live or you can die
water is sign of life

the element, the anomaly
build energy, fill the body
the circle, the reflection
water is word of power

(O) Water always finds water (a slippery tale)

She asked her a few questions
Shuffled the cards
Laid out the deck before her
“Pick a few won’t you? ”
“Ah yes”, she said, “was he a water sign? ”
“Yes” was her reply
“And you? ”
“Yes, water too”

“Ah, now I see…
When water meets water, you know;
It just flows,
Flows into one another
No seams, no edges, smooth without ridges
But when water meets fire
Well that’s a whole different desire
Water gets heated up by fire
But water can put fire out”
With that, she could agree and had no doubt

“What you need” she said, “is a good earth sign”
“Get away from all this water and fire,
Too much drowning, too much heat
What you need is some earth for you to meet”

So the mermaid shimmied up onto the rocks
Flipping her pearlescent tail on the shore
And twinkled her pretty shells
But the sea wanted her more……..

Thirst

My spirit wails for water, water now!
My tongue is aching dry, my throat is hot
For water, fresh rain shaken from a bough,
Or dawn dews heavy in some leafy spot.
My hungry body's burning for a swim
In sunlit water where the air is cool,
As in Trout Valley where upon a limb
The golden finch sings sweetly to the pool.
Oh water, water, when the night is done,
When day steals gray-white through the windowpane,
Clear silver water when I wake, alone,
All impotent of parts, of fevered brain;
Pure water from a forest fountain first,
To wash me, cleanse me, and to quench my thirst!

Leaping Salmon

I will not dream another's sweet musings
when the truth is only partly known
the fruit is so sweet but of another knowledge

but face my own full on
naked in the darkness
and recognise that which has never been shown before
and dream it as my own

I will not share you with another
I cannot
for their knowledge would lack the spice of experience

I am the silver salmon driving out of the peat black water into the
daylight
Rising rising
timeless and heavy
Falling backwards into the darkness

I am inside you rising up through the water feeling the water rush past
my
flanks
light flickers above
Searching for the head waters

They are there. I smell them
Peatiness all round

I hold your flanks
Pass my hands to your front, beneath your gills
fingers just apart
sensing your power running past my fingers
Silver water running through my fingers

Pass my hands down your sides
Sense the water passing over my skin
Surges rising up
geysers of water silver spume

The salmon rises

My beautiful salmon, you rise and explode gasping in the electric air
showers of jewels tremble in the sunlight
the sound of a thousand water falls

The pinky darkness of your open mouth
catching the irresdecent droplets

Your flanks tremble in the sun

and fall

back into the enveloping water
bubbles rise
Dark fish sinks into the velvet darkness

Still Still Swish Still

Held like a chalice

Running Water

Playing around like a clown
I didn't see a puddle of water
on the ground
Falling from the dip
I lost my grip
to face down
water dripping
from my head to my draws
It was like
going down Niagra falls
having a view
of all bodys of water
from the creek, lake, river
ocean and sea
I thought I was watching TV
falling from a tree
to what sudden deepth
wait upon me
A great whale waitting
to eat me
to bones
all of my flesh
all I saw
at bottom was rocks and stones
my blood and chest
The bodys of water
was a total mess
Swirving in and out
to the red sea
the Atlantic Ocean was now upon me
I can barely see
Sliding the crust of the narrow Potomac River
I was thirsty
and ready to drink
only to see trash
passing by
I must think
pushing the water fountain
cloud of dirt
beside Oxon Hill Creek
is there any real water
to drink
I was just running water
in my cell
hurt
hoping for the best
water come clean and fresh

God Wont Trouble Our Water

In this day and age a man can love a man
I love you although some comes to knock us down
We bravely in love and war stand our ground
We are ready for the battle and in the end shall win
For who shall not with love to defend
If you see my baby tell ‘em here I am
God won’t trouble our water
He loves me as only a good man can
God won’t trouble our water
If you see my baby tell ‘em here I am
God won’t trouble our water
He says that I’m his only man
God won’t trouble our water
I remember well when our love began
God won’t trouble our water
I knew that I love him even then
God won’t trouble our water
If you see my baby tell ‘em here I am
God won’t trouble our water
He loves me as only a good man can.
