I Am...

I am water and fire
I wonder how long ill fight the smoke before the mist cools me down
I hear the crackling tearing me apart little by little
I see the bright light calling my name
I want the pain to end,
I am water and fire

I pretend this isn't real
I feel the burn hitting my skin
I toutch the flam to get away
I worry these feelings i feel won't go away
I cry as the flam burns my heart
I am water and fire

I understand why I feel this way
I say I'll get through this and run away
I dream to find myself someday
I AM water and fire

the soft slopsuck
of sea-wet siltysand

all filling in about my sinking feet

splayed water at my ankles
uncurling then collapsing - a flowing, foamingly unfurling flower


a point between two worlds



the antediluvian moondragged tide dances
with white hair windblown forwardly

a bleeding beast suspended in air:
thunderlungs
and stormcloud eyes crying on this seanoise

a symphony of water on water on water
on land:

an ocean day is someway lovely during a thunderstorm.

Lotus Flower

Leaves peltate
drifts on water surface
Maintains its position
Even water rises
Like love that’s divine
When figured faith
and trust stands firm
On quiet water
it grows
Like pond ornamentals
Saturated oxygen
and poor soil
Its beauty represented
With hope everlasting
by an ancient Egyptian art
its beauty is delightful
it contains the gigantic
water lilies
of the Amazon
Heart’s yearning
Soul searching
Bear solitary
rather clustered flowers
Numerous and unfused
Resembles the most ancient
Flowering plants of life

Abandon to Physical Sensation

And I swam and swam and dived
into the waves and rode them out
and tumbled about and became a
water sprite and rolled over and
over in the shallow water and ran
into the waves, splashing up a
wide new ball-room dress, beautiful
circles of diamond glitter in the sun,
diving into the cool water again and
changing into a dolphin, water my
natural medium, experiencing sensory
ecstasy, swimming fast and deep,
feeling the delicious fatigue, turning
over and becoming one with the foam,
bubbling with the wave crest, in total
abandon to physical sensation…
