[SEA FOOD SAUCE
INGREDIENTS
- 100 gm sun-dried tomatoes, preserved in oil
- 1 clove garlic, mashed ( optional )
- 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 4 tbs. sour cream
- 1 tsp. tabasco sauce
- salt, to taste[/color]
PREPARATION
1. Drain the sun-dried tomatoes from their oil, put in a food processor and blend into a puree.
2. Add the garlic, mayonnaise, sour cream, hot sauce and salt.
3. Cream into a smooth sauce.
4. Refrigerate and erve with shrimps or seafood, in general.
RED SAUCE
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 cup mayonnaies
- 1 tsp. tabasco sauce
- 1 tsp. mustard
- salt and white pepper, to taste
PREPARATION:
1. Char or bake the red pepper until tender. Put in a nylon bag and close the tip. Leave the pepper to sweat inside the bag for 30 minutes.
2. Peel the pepper, shred and put in a processor. Blend into a paste.
3. Add the mayonnaise, onion, hot sauce, mustard, salt and pepper and blend into a smooth sauce. Serve with meat or chicken barbecue.
